Eric Dungey Nominated for Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year Award

Man, I really want to win so I'm good with DeVito starting. However, I just hope we can find a way to utilize him in games somehow so he can contribute - he deserves that in my book. Think about it, going back 20 years of Orange, who has sacrificed their body as much as Dungey in an effort to win? I can't think of one, myself.

Yep no one I can think of, and he deserves to be part of a bowl team as much as anyone on the roster. I think we need to start DeVito to ensure we go bowling but Dungey needs to be a contributor in some regard

One analogy would be Dan Conley, it's not quite the same deal in terms of injury and potential for next level achievement but maybe similar in what they mean to their team's chances of winning.

I know the Mayo Clinic has the best intentions but man I would not want to be an award winner -- if only because it means I went through some awful something at some point.

Imagine the irony of ED being healthy and playing only 8 games due to TD winning QB1? Not that that is going to happen, but still.

It'd also be a funny bookend to a career that began when Dungey Wally Pipped an injured starter (Hunt) who he was rumored to have outplayed in practice.

It would be an unbearable disservice not to get Dungey to a bowl game...

cant wait for saturday

He’s not healthy

He’s not healthy

Possibly true skibum but he's still playing and he hasn't been able to do even that over the past 3 years. There are possibly a decent amount of players not healthy and still banging heads out there on the turf.
