Sounds like they are going to let him speak after all.
"We had no intention of Eric being the only speaker"
So who called him and told him that they were "going in another direction"?
Nice save, rutgirls
I hope he turns them down!

I live in Houston, TX and was listening to some sports talk radio on 740am this morning on the way to work and I caught the tail end of a discussion about Rutgers. They pretty much said that Rutgers is a complete disappointment and despite what their fans think they are a basketball school not a football school.
um, what?!?
I agree it was a bizarre statement. But, I don't think Rutgers is a football school either.
I barely consider Rutgers a real school at all.
they meant women's basketball - after all, I think that's their highest paid coach :rolling:um, what?!?
And they are a "basketball school" because why?I live in Houston, TX and was listening to some sports talk radio on 740am this morning on the way to work and I caught the tail end of a discussion about Rutgers. Hmm...the only think I can really say I know about their basketball program is Phil Sellers (70s?) was decent and they had an abusive coach who was fired a few years ago.I do not know. I came into the discussion late. I think the radio hosts' point was not that necessarily Rutgers was a good basketball school, only that if it is known for anything, it would be basketball first. That was my take away.
