Im surprised at what little talk there is of Erv's comeback and the impact he will have. I believe he is our most important player on offense, and the most capable of scoring on any play.

I can't wait to see Erv back out there, but I gotta agree with jgeorge322 Dungey is the most important player.

The Captain disagrees! haha jk. Alright well I guess Dungey AND Erv are both the most important pieces of our offense within Lester's system. Having them back will be fantastic.

I'm just amazed that this weekend, we will only have Hunt out. Erv is back, Dunk is finally going to play and Dungey should be back. Hell, this time last year, it seemed like half our team was injured.

there can only be one most important, and its not erv. not that the inverse of such a calculation would be determinative, but Strickland is a better substitute for erv than Mahoney is for dungey. we lose less from the former and the hback is less important overall then qb. dungeys health is KEY to the remainder of the year IMHO.

I'm not disagreeing that Dungey being healthy is key to this year by any means.

Dungey is the key guy but I smile when I think of Erv and Bris being out there at the same time.

gotta hope he can still make the same cuts. His first run and cut, which was pretty extreme and amazing, was where he injured himself. Will be interesting to see how he looks out there. Hopefully he won't miss a beat and will be back 100%.

Agree- I don't think he gets more than 10-15 plays this week but I can't wait to see when him, Bristly, and Ishmael on the field at the same time. I don't think we have had that many play makers ( not counting QB's) in a while.

boy you're not kidding. And I don't recall a Syracuse team being this healthy like ever going into a game. We have a chance to fire on all eight cylinders this week. Really looking forward to it and to look at things with a realistice eye (aka we're still young and no game is a guaranted. This is a very losable game but I just don't see them doing anything other than focusing and staying sharp.

Tim can actually have a formation with 4 wide-outs that are a TD threat. Steve, Brisly, Erv, and Dontae can all take it to the house. We really have some exciting options for Eric to work with.
