Eskridge just ran a 4.57 and a 4.56 at the combine. Mayock said something along the lines of long body, beginning to fill out and is starting to learn how to play the position. Also mentioned he is best friends with Devonta Freeman.

Could be a chance he doesn't get drafted, but I'm thinking he is a late rounder. Not sure if another year at Syracuse could've helped him, but there are so many better safeties in front of him.

I think he will sneak into the draft based on measurables/potential, but I absolutely think that another year at Syracuse would have helped him, with the one caveat being avoiding injuries.

This is a weak year for safeties so in his mind it was probably the right time to get in the draft. My Redskins need safety help in a big way and his name has been bounced around.

Can't believe Reddish wasn't invited. Don't see him listed with the DB's.

Agree. To my untrained eye, he made a lot of big plays last year, knocked away several deep balls. And he was clutch shedding blocks and blowing up quick outs.

Problem for him is that even with a "weak" year for safeties, he is still way down the list. That doesn't bode well for him.

Complete joke. Some of these kids simply do not belong at the Combine. I've been watching the DB's all morning and Desir could've performed better than some of these safeties.

One thing I noticed with the S and DB is that they all seem more "built" than Esk or Reddish. Doesn't mean they can play though.

I don't care what the measurables say, Reddish can play. he was unquestionably our best DB by a wide margin last year.

I thought Reddish had one of the best seasons for a DB that we've had in a long time. Kid did very well in every phase of the position.

It's very hard to appreciate a great corner. The only times they get noticed are on picks or blown coverages.

Certainly one of the best tacklers this team has had in a number of seasons. It was like no one could get past him 1v1.

Hopefully he is able to show something at SU's pro day

100%

I was thinking the same thing. Eskridge looked like a freshman out there compared to most of those other kids.

Slow down there...I'm as orange as the next guy but Desir probably would have ran in the 4.7 or 4.8's there, and probably would have out up 225 5 times.

Definitely though Reddish deserved an invite to the combine. I bet he gets drafted in the 6th or 7th round.

As for Eskridge, i'm not sure why anyone would think he's not going to get drafted? Kiper has him as the 4th rated safety in the entire class. Sure it is a weak year, but he should go by the 4th round. Too much potential to pass up.

If he goes the FA route some team is going to strike gold at a very low price.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Reddish get a few FA offers, but I would be very surprised if he gets drafted. I think he would be better served in the long run anyway if he can get several FA offers and then pick his spot based on the roster.

I would love to see reddish along with jaiquan Jarrett in the jets defensive backfield.

Good point, and I definitely agree it would be best for him. I just can't see how he isn't drafted. Looking forward to see how he does during his pro-day.

He'll be drafted but he may be drafted a lot later than his camp thought he would be. I know of a few teams that are interested in working him out as a receiver.
