All of the guys that you mention were GROB recruits.  The 4 stars GRob brought in (4 star at either Rvls or Sct) were Lobdell, Delone Carter, Andrey Baskin, Jermaine Pierce, Doug Hogue, Romale Tucker, Averin Collier, Marcus Sales, Mikhail Marinovich and Adam Rosner.  Granted a pretty mixed bag, Baskin never made it,  Pierce never saw the field due to injury, Tucker and Collier dropped out, Rosner and Lobdell were non-factors, Marinovich was a 3 year starter at DE, Sales had a great senior year and was the top receiving option prior to getting suspended, Carter is one of the best backs to ever play at Syracuse, is 3rd all-time in rushing and was drafted in the 4th round, and Hogue was a fantastic linebacker who got drafted in the 5th round. 
 
10 guys over 4 years isn't much of a sample, and my comment was really geared towards the 4 stars that the Marrone staff and the current SS staff have recruited because I feel that they are better collectively at evaluating talent.
