It makes sense that Strong is paid lots of money because Louisville doesn't want to lose him to another school. But when a HC starts off at a school they shouldn't be making as much as they do. None of those guys had any demand going into this season. So how do they get paid that much? Not one of those guys deserved those salaries. Some of those guys couldn't get a job if they were a FA. Some deserve a raise based on this year, or at least a large bonus. But certainly these guys didn't deserve their current pay going into the year.
