ESPN conference ranking SEC not first

The ACC being ahead of the B1G is good for the conference. I would love for the ACC to stay in the top 4. The Big East is closer to the MWC than the Big 5.

Stupid ranking is stupid. Big12 has only played 4 AQ teams (3-1). Big East was 3-0 just this weekend. While I'm glad ACC is ahead of B1G, they didn't have a good weekend.

This ranking is just another example of the impact on early voting.

LOL ... this is a joke ... Big 12 ahead of the SEC? I can't wait till the AP gets it right ... OU is the best team in the Big 12 and wouldn't even be a top 4 or 5 team in the SEC ... I could easily see them behind Bama, LSU, UGA, UF and Tenn ... possibly even USC (the eastern version). Frankly the PAC-12 has been more impressive than the Big 12 ... huge wins by Oregon St. ... unranked Arizona etc ... FSU/Clemson is the only thing keeping the ACC afloat and I think Clemson is about to be exposed ... Don't get me wrong OU and WVU and even UT are good but good grief they can't hold a candle to the SEC ... and the Big 12 has its fair share of bottom feeders ... see Kansas.

I'm surprised this isn't being trumpeted all over the WVU board. Instead, the big news is all about Rutgers getting prepared to join the Big 12. Or maybe the B1G.

Yeah, the Big XII is overrated, but I think Texas looks like the real deal this year. They finally fixed their offense and while I think Oklahoma and West Virginia are overrated they have good depth with K-State and TCU. The SEC has 2 super teams in Alabama and LSU. I think Florida and Georgia are top 15 teams as well, but South Carolina and Tennessee still have a little to prove this year.

KState and TCU are going to be hit or miss this season IMHO ... I think Texas is good but not Bama, LSU, UGA, UF good ... I would love to see how they do against the speed and physicality of a top tier SEC defense ... I wouldn't be shocked at all to see UT bury OU either .. they seem ripe for the picking this season. And I agree with your WVU assessment ... they would get absolutely pimp slapped by most of the top 10.
