ESPN says it was a bad called game

Announcers going over the game said in their words" the bump out of bounds" as Clemson QB was still trying to gain yards was a bad call which changed the whole game, and if they called that, they certainly should have called the same against Clemson hitting GS out of bounds which was worse...would have won if not for those bad calls

He purposely tip toed and stepped out as soon as he was being contacted. Watch his feet he stopped them to fall forward. Then popped up immediately celebrating because it worked.

You are absolutely right. The QB was literally trying to gain yards while in bounds, and Cuse wasn't supposed to shove him out? Gimme a break
In real time I was screaming that it was a bad call (the late hit on us). On the replay, I saw how they could've called it. Had they called it the same way for both teams, I would've been fine with it either way. The fact that they called it one way for Clemson and then no called it for Shrader was total crap.

I honestly think they called it because they feared reaction from the Clemson crowd. The QB was not giving himself up and he was still inbounds. That was a completely clean hit.

Shrader, on the other hand, continued to be "escorted" out of bounds after he was 4 steps out of bounds
