I think it should depend on who you lose to and how you lose. Were we supposed to beat LSU? We went 3-9 last year. Yep, definitely trending down.

But when trying to consider who will make the playoffs.. losing a game to anyone will make you "trend down", compared to all the other teams that are undefeated. This isnt a representation of how we look as a team, if it was, I'd agree with you. This is a representation of our chances to make the play offs... which after losing a game, those odds just went down.
