It just proves that the average sports fan recognize Duke-UNC as a bigger rivalry than SU-Gtown, and that is who they are catering to.

LOL. How maddening is it to try to catch our highlights on Sportscenter only to have them spontaneously break out into a 45 minute long NFL segment, only to come back and have changed all the upcoming items so we aren't even on the screen anymore?

This is one of the most annoying things ESPN does, I can't stand it!!!!

I guess we have the chance to end all the Duke/UNC talk if we could replace them as perennial top dog in the ACC. That said, as much as I dislike both of those teams, I am going to really miss the Georgetown rivalry.

Edit: It would be nice if ESPN had more formidable competition, like CNN eventually got. Competition keeps you on your toes, generally.

Well it is a bigger rivalry just because the two of them are so often ranked in the top 10. G'town has more often than not been a middle of the pack team. So while it is a big game for us .. nationally it does not have the same kind of play that two top 10 teams meeting does.

You guys had to be laughing with me though that our game went to OT and pre-empted the first 5 minutes of Blue-vs-Light Blue. I was half expecting them to just break away from our game with :58 left in OT to show their tip-off.
