You know, I have to give Mike Brey credit, they're doing a breakdown of how Jerian Grant somehow brought ND back against Louisville and in breaking down the film, he's pointing out the way his posture told Grant what to do on each trip. Funny stuff. Poking a little fun at himself.

I think Brey is a good coach. Its not like they are ever loaded with talent at ND on the bball side. Always nice to see guys who aren't afraid to laugh at themselves. That sounds pretty funny.

Man, ESPNU that was a bad idea to play music over the highlights while BMK was talking. His accent is still pretty thick, so adding loud music made it even harder to make out exactly what he was saying.

Watching this now (I set the DVR), it's kind of amazing watching the groups of coaches being interviewed, and whenever JB is involved...everyone kind of defers to him. The only one who doesn't really is K, for obvious reasons, but even when talking to JB, K, and Roy to open things up, Roy seemed like he was absolutely deferring to JB.

Lots of respect for Jimmy from his fellow coaches.

Brey often does good work in the regular season. In March though, its as if he's anxious to start golf season. You could virtually guarantee every year that ND would not be playing in the conf tournament final, and would bow out in the first weekend of the ncaa's.

Agreed but I think a large part if that is that he gets them to overachive during the season compared to theri talent level.
