Just parroting what JAB said... but yes, I wouldn't hold your breath.

I expect goal posts will be moved again when we come up short... "We thought W and X going into the portal season, but didn't think we'd have to deal with Y and Z."

Who knows tho?? Maybe Melo splashes some serious cash on the NIL front?

Both Devo and Thomas are close with Autry and I wouldn’t expect either of them to give an upfront and honest assessment of the team.

Devo is more honest I think with others. I haven't listened but he's been fairly critical all year that the Guards are just not good at really anything.

Personally I think our back court may be the worst we've ever had.

I'm not going to listen to an hour conversation between these two, but i'm stuck on an early part of this, and they both seem to be confusing being "shocked" with being "upset" by the announcement that Red will be back for another year. Haven't we all (here) been conditioned already to the expectation that the AD was not going to can Red after two years and pay a big out fee?

As much as many of us wanted that, and think that's what should happen, i doubt many of us would have bet on that happening. There's no "shock." We can be bothered/disgusted/outraged and still not be surprised. We've seen decades of this school playing cheap. Heck, i still want to know why—of all the colleges i've been to—Syracuse had the absolute worst dining hall food... I hope that has changed since 1989...
