OK, I've waited a week to post again to this thread. I hope that's ok. Liverpool has joined Newcastle in the chase for Hugo Ekitike. His team in Germany turned down a 70M pound offer from Newcastle. Arsenal, which had a great start to the window, has stalled out on Eberechi Eze, a left winger from Crystal Palace, and Viktor Gyorkes of Sporting Lisbon. Chelsea has supposedly made inquiries of Eze's camp. Marcus Rashford is among many looking for a way out of Manchester United. Latest interest is from Bayern. Rashford would like a move to Barcelona, but they are so strapped financially, that there is no guarantee they can register players before the season starts. That's why they couldn't close on Nico Williams of Athletic. Malik Tillman cashes in on his excellent summer and signed with Bayer Leverkusen. Good move for him. Rogrygo is on his way out from Real Madrid. Arsenal expressed tepid interest. Chelsea has kicked the tires. Now Liverpool are showing interest, as they figure out Luis Diaz's future. People are still looking at Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace, including Newcastle, Liverpool and Chelsea. I'm thinking he'll make a move but it's going to be toward the end of the window. US International Johnny Cardoso has moved from Real Betis to Athletico Madrid. Patrick Agmeyang has signed with Derby County of the English Championship league. Leipzig's 22 year old young center forward Benjamin Sesko is pricing himself out of a move, and just turned down interest from Saudi Arabia. Chelsea looking to do some more business. Jorrell Hato, a young left back from Ajax is on their radar as cover for Spanish Jesus, Marc Cucurella at left back. Chelsea has signed a young left winger (for too much money) - Jamie Gittens from Dortmund. But they are looking for a more senior guy, too - they are looking at Ebereze Eche of Crystal Palance, Garnacho from United (God, no! He's terrible.) and Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa, who would probably be the best choice. Chelsea is looking at goal keepers. Sanchez is a top rated shot stopper but makes so many mistakes at the back in distribution. Mike Maignon of AC Milan has been the subject of a bid that was rejected. They're looking at other guys who are not "sure things" in my opinion. If they buy anybody, my choice would be Marc-Andre Ter Stegen, the German who currently sits on the bench at Barcelona, and who wants to start for Germany in the upcoming World Cup. Man City did well early in the window, and are sitting on their powder for now. I think they still need a fullback and a central defender. Spurs have done well so far in the offseason, signing Mohammed Kudus, who took a step backward last year at West Ham, but is a real talent, IMO. They are also after Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham but have been loudly accused of tampering by Forest, so this move may be in doubt. Athletico Madrid were trying to steal away Spurs' important central defender, Christian Romero, but AM have backed off. Spurs certainly hope to keep him alongside Mickey Van De Ven in their central defense. They also signed a young Center Back from Japan.
