And the fact is that on throws that he did make well there were some drops.   He didn't miss on those.   Two of those drops end up completions and he gets some near misses on target he is 18 of 28, 64% and in the 250-280 range.

The kid is never going to be a precision pocket passer.  Slight improvement in accuracy and adding some more play action and this offense could be pretty good.

Hunt has depth and talent at TB, TE, and WR that Nassib never had.   Loved Alec, but he was one guy, and rarely 100%.  Sales is another guy on this roster, West now is better than West then.  Parris, Custis, and Moore are a better unit than Wales and Stevens.      Hunt doesn't need to be great, he doesn't need to be a top 20 quarterback, for this team to be good.   What he does need is help from his OC.
