How about some praise for Notre dame?
They would have won the game Fab or no Fab.

They killed us on the boards.
They ran an excellent patient offense that usually wound up with good shots.
And - most importantly - they were GREAT getting back on defense.
Did we have a single runout?

I disagree. The game goes down in a completely different way if Fab is there.

But you are correct, they played a fantastic game, stuck to the plan, and made a shat load of last second shots. Game of the year for them.

I think the reason you're not going to see us heap praise on ND is that we all know when this team plays the way they're capable of, ND can't beat them. When SU plays it's A game, it doesn't matter how well ND does on the boards, or how patient they are, or how hard they hustle on D. It's not that we don't respect the great game ND played, it's just that we know if SU had done what we've seen them do 20 times before, the result would have been different.

We win with our top rebounder and shotblocker in the game. Melo's contributions on defense create
those opportunities to beat the defense back. They hit a few sh** shots at the last second.
