Expectations for Coleman's senior season

The player who comes to mind when I read your post is Danny Schayes. He toiled in relative obscurity for 3 years, and then had a monster senior year, parlaying that into being a 1st round pick and a long NBA career. Please note, I'm not saying DC is going to have that kind of year. But big senior year turnarounds do happen. Not often at all, but they do.

Different situation, Danny was just stuck in back of Rosy. he probably would have shined much earlier in his career if he had received the minutes and the opportunity that DC2 has already had.

Danny's was more of an "opportunity" turn-around as opposed to a senior year turn-around.

lol, not asking that much. He has a baby hook (I've seen it). He also has a drop step ... and he has an elbow jumper. So he has all these tools, just needs to get the rust off. Maybe it's finally time for him to explode now that his rehab's behind him and he can focus on improving. That started to show in the final third of the season.

I get what you're saying and know you didn't imply that, was kinda joking.

The unfortunate truth is, almost every guy who's played at a high level in basketball has shown spurts of being great, otherwise they wouldn't even be at this level. We've seen Roberson hit a mid range jumper, we've seen Kaleb tear down Nova's guards in Philly, etc etc, you know what I mean.

I have no doubt Coleman is capable of making a baby hook shot, I've seen him do it as well, the problem is if he attempts it 4 times, one time he makes it, one time he gets stripped, one time he's blocked, and one time he misses it. Like all sports, basketball is a game of consistency, until DC can show he's consistent expecting a complete game from him game in and game out I think he needs to show all the things you mentioned at a more consistent pace. I hope he can and he's one guy I can't figure out what to expect or even know what he's capable of at this point.
