Extremely Cool Forum Feature......

I had never previously bothered with an avatar, but I decided to select one.

My avatar is a picture of my beloved ridgeback, Roo (short for Rooyen - named after one of the early lion hunters that helped develop the breed), running for the first time on a Santa Barbara beach. You never saw a dog have such pure joy.

Anyways, the really cool board feature was that my avatar became part of all of my prior posts. I had no idea !!!

Can you tell me what noob means? I see it all the time and when I looked it up it used the word in the definition. Is it like newby?

Ridgebacks are amazing and loving dogs. I used to have one named Kimara when I was younger. If I ever decide to have a dog when I am out of Graduate school, which I probably will, a ridgeback is definitely the breed I will choose.

Yes, my boy is the best.

He is sweet as can be & in fact, he is actually a therapy dog.
