NIL..it is all about the cash! Good players like Latham, and their parents, look around and see other players geting big money, millions in some cases, and they say to themselves, or other say to them, hey, you should be getting more, you deserve more. So, they put their name in the hat and submit themselves to the highest bidder. This is the new norm. It will be impossible to build teams like you used to. Every year, players on your roster will leave, especially the really good ones, and you will be faced with going to the portal to pick up players who were unhappy at another school...
