Facebook photo featuring Syracuse quarterback Terrel Hunt is latest social media hiccup for universi

"Under NCAA rules, the use of a player's name or picture "to advertise, recommend
or promote directly the sale or use of a commercial product or service of any kind" is prohibited — even if the player does not grant permission or have knowledge of the photo."

Unless it's the NCAA and its media partners.

Like this sees the light of day unless .... grrrrrrrrrrrrr

We have a crack staff of interns up there. Next thing you know they'll be scheduling Hunt for Fucillo commercials too.

Obviously the University can't control what an exterior business does on its Facebook page, but someone has to educate these kids better.

(Caveat - unless the guy just asked for their picture and didn't tell them he planned on using it on Facebook, which is unlikely but at least plausible and just idiotic of the owner if that's the case)

Just asking for the picture seems a lot more plausible to me.
