Do we even have 'go-to' plays in our book anymore?  This is going to be one of those seasons where we're in the last two weeks, we've found our groove and are wishing we could have the UMD and ND games back...as we are clawing for bowl eligibility.

All I care about at this point (for the season) is a healthy roster, tangible improvement on both sides of the ball, respectable play on the field, a win over Louisville, and a bowl game...with a W.  Next season I hope we can put it all together and win games like UMD and ND instead of squandering them.

BTW, was it me or did the Golson mistakes last night go from "great plays by the Syracuse defense" to "Golson just played bad"?  Thanks ESPN.

One more thing, and this is all I will say about last night.  I am proud of how our guys played last night, especially Hunt gutting out the second half when he clearly wasn't 100%.  Stupid penalties and mistakes aside, the kids did play every down and never gave up and should be commended for it.  BUT...I am sick and tired of our Offense hanging the Defense out to dry.  The Defense GAVE THEM A CHANCE TO WIN THIS EARLY...and they buffooned their way to 'nothing to show for it'.  That is inexcusable and needs to be fixed.  The Defense should be pissed today.  They improved over the UMD game.  Sure they had some missed tackles that allowed drives to continue, but overall they deserved a W for their efforts.
