I haven't heard any correct account from our local writers or anybody on this board on how the student visa works and who actually issues. The facts are the student visa is issued by the University

Sounds like a job for the new AD to make sure this happens!

I'm not sure what stipulations the University holds to issue it
In terms of what documents especially for international it looks for but the actual student visa is issued by the university so the article really must be referring to documents or requirements he's seeking to get the student visa issued which he does not have YET.

Question is will he?

I imagine he will need some identification to present at the port of entry into this country. Along with your passport, you have to present some paper work why you are coming here. Are we talking about Diagne?

Assuming that this is the hang up, and not just white noise.

From the sound of things, the visa isn't so much the issue, getting academically eligible is (grades or SAT score). I imagine getting a student visa is not a big problem, provided you have the grades/SAT score to get into the school, obviously. If he had a trip planned to Senegal this whole time, and since he got to this country in the first place, his documentation for international travel is fine. A basketball player with pro potential, who could give significant money back to the school, isn't going to be turned down for a visa (again, except for strictly academic issues).

He doesn't need travel papers. Just "valar morghulis".

Well our won sports writers and hosts don't have us winning 20 games this year. According to them they we be lucky.

The best was Matt Park who last year said the team was playing, they do not even think about the investigation.

So, when you see what I posted, do you really think they will know abut the student visa? Come on
