I get that GRob was a bad choice, but I feel like at least that doesn't rise beyond a "normal" level of incompetence. Coaching hires get messed up all the time. It's an art, not a science. Ours was just particularly disastrous.

The stuff with ED and Saturday, to me, are "never" events. They show a lack of professionalism and attention to detail that should simply never happen at a large institution (or a small one). And this has been a pettern with the AD.

Retiring #44.

Hiring GRob.

Shipping our marquee football games off to NYC. The College Football Playoff helped us retain some of these games (a la LSU at the Dome this year), and I understand we got paid big-time to have them at MetLife, but it was incredibly frustrating for the locals.

All football reasons, but those are his biggest ups IMO.

His biggest win, which may trump them all, is getting us into the ACC. That was a huge financial win.

TBH I don't think this required a lot of skill on DG's part. He just didn't it up.

But, he didn't so there's that.

I think he got us in by promising to play games in New York.

There's also been talk of moving BB games to the Garden or Barclays.
