I agree. I think we are still going to win in a close game but if Gonzaga only had a day and a half to prepare for us I think the result would be a larger margin of victory for Syracuse.

Exactly -- I always feel more confident going into round of 32 games and Elite 8 games than I do in 1st round and Sweet 16 games (I think our record in these games probably backs this up). And while I think we owe UVA one and could definitely beat them if we advance on Friday -- definitely give me ISU with the short around and a rookie head coach on Sunday. Plus we just match up better with the Cyclones.

With that said -- Gonzaga is scary as hell iit's a really tough matchup for us

Gonzaga records always look Utah Statish---28 & 3, 30-6, but probably do worse against the BCS Conferences. We destroyed them in 2010 with Arinze out injured and they had Robert Sacre. Think we will be OK. Our story line is too attractive to end at Gonzagas hands.
