I understand TGD is not without faults, but I am really happy one of his focuses while here was improving our ranking in these standings. A good athletic department is good for the university.

Gotta love #44!

Also, #9 in the ACC (includes ND) - respectable in that 9 of the top 44 slots are ACC!. Overall, not a bad showing for a private school without the monster resources of some fellow private schools and no state assistance like the big state U's.

For fun: Rutgers appears to be the lowest ranked P5 school coming in at #116. Essentially, this is like a participation trophy.

I liked TGD. Met him on several occasions, from Gerg's first game to the Atlanta Final Four, and several times in between.

The successes in the non-revenue sports have been terrific!
