Signed in on my brothers
( SC_Orangeneck) computer while in SC and that's what happened. Formerly Orange&Blue44, I lost my handle too, as the new registration doesn't accept more than 12 characters. Aside from that, and the outcome of the game, I had a great time. Wished we were able to meet some of you folks. We stayed at the Days Inn College Park and took Marta to get downtown. The Hudson Grille was way to packed to get a beer. 5,000 patrons and 3-4 bartenders. Had a small incident with a 20 something Michigan fan sitting in front of me. I cheer for my team, I'm not profane or obnoxious.
Near the end of the game, when we hit the 3 to close us to down one, I screamed YESSSSSS! at the top of my lungs. This Michigan fan turns around and just stares/ glares at me with a hateful look. He was wearing one of those big flat-brim caps popular these days, a Michigan hat, cocked sideways. Looking at him , the only thing I could think of was Eminem, so I glared back and said " You got a problem, 8-Mile ?" He proceeded to turn back around and say nothing. Sunday, got near the front of the line for the concerts, and ended up near the front of the stage. Stayed there all day and saw 4 bands, Blind Pilot,( meh) Grace Potter and the Nocturnals (Great), Sting (Great) and Dave Matthews ( Great). We stayed for the Championship game, because we enjoy basketball, and it was one hell of a game. Tuesday, we went to the Georgia Aquarium, which was fantastic. We ate Southern fare at the same restaurant CTO did, the Colonnade. The fried chicken was out of this world, recommend it highly. Best meal on the trip. Thanks CTO! Best part of the trip was to be able to spend time with my brother, who I'm not able to see very often. We discussed going to Dallas next year ... GO ORANGE !!!!
