is how far we've come since being in the old Big East - now AAC conference. Critical for me is to see if Shafer's recruiting and talent has truly gone to the next level and what I'll be looking to see improvement is.

1. First year in we were destroyed by FSU & Clemson
2. Second year...
3. Third year in we played tough with LSU, looking to see how we play against FSU & Clemson this year

Most importantly is to see if we have really improved against our old AAC opponent USF from a talent level. It's amazing to me that we are the underdog to them, although understandable, but I think that will motivate the team even more as Shafer has always stated he loves being the underdog.

While watching parts of the USF-Memphis game, USF looks really fast on defense but that is against AAC teams. We look much faster too both on offense & defense. With the team being fully healthy (except Hunt), I cannot wait for Saturday not only for the game but to find out if we have taken it up a notch.

Personally, a win would be awesome but my hope is we destroy them - perceptions about us would change overnight if we did. Statement win would be SU 41-10. Go Orange.

I for one, cannot understand how we are dogs in this game, and 5 points is more than just USF home-field advantage. More, I cannot understand how the fans of a 1-3 team, a team that got blasted by a horrible Maryland team, believe, almost to a man, that we are one of three winnable games left on their schedule. We are going to hammer them.

This is going to get ugly for USF, lol. I think we come conservative and try to get Dungey back into the swing of things early and then just bury them in the second half.

From what I've seen of USF this season, They have a good RB and decent front 7. Their offense has no pass game which plays into our defense.

USF vs FBS teams averages 16ppg on offense and gives up 31 ppg on defense.

Cuse is averaging 28ppg vs FBS even while playing 4 different QB and the other offensive injuries.

I think we see a score like 34-17 Cuse.
