Cuz what could go wrong with the current system? Hmmm

I can see this happening over and over again.

"It's a classic con game on a 19-year-old," Hardin said.

The irony of Rashada's attorney's words. No more of a "classic con game" than is the facade of NIL vs. what in all reality it is, and everyone knows it is, pay for play.

This has rather predictably/quickly evolved into precisely what many predicted would happen relative to NIL. That being, an absolute crock where its principle/intent never stood a chance in playing out.

Undoubtedly, more suits of this nature are likely to follow, further exacerbating and exposing the fraudulent nature NIL in its current state is, which encompasses this comprehensive chit show college revenue sports has become.

100% clear as day foreseeable IMO.

And it’s turning off all the fans, you know, the people who actually fund all this stuff. Without fans bases, there is no money and no TV revenue, no ticket and merchandise sales, and indeed no big time college sports. All of this greed, from schools to the coaches to the athletic departments to the players, is really hurting college sports.

And despite all that, this is still better than what was going on before.
