A former giant that has faded into mediocrity, stuck in a league that is a terrible fit and seems to be in decline as well (except Duke), in an area of the country that - not trying to make anyone angry — is not the most attractive place to live, without the mega donors who can sustain a consistent top 15 prorgam

3. A program that got incredibly lucky to have the Big East and JB at just the right time, but in reality it was a bit of a miracle and now the current landscape of CBB does not put SU into any sort of competitive advantage.

I know it’s probably some combo of all 3, but I would think scenario 2 is most likely closest to reality. How does that affect the ability to find a great coach in the next cycle?
