This is the issue. There should be all of the reverence and celebration for what JB did for SU basketball and SU overall (and his charity work, etc). But he was paid millions, has the court named after him, put a statue up if you want and he'll always have a home at SU, as he should. He was given runway at the end of this tenure way past what it should have been imo, but one can reasonably argue that he earned it. I would never argue it, but you can.

Then he apparently had so much sway over the admin and BoT that we *had* to hire Red or else we would have endured a thousand years of drought and plague. I don't think that would have been the case, but what do I know.

At this point, I don't want anyone that has ties to JB as HC or even on staff, really. We've paid the pied piper and then some.

Respect the past, but we need to forge a new future.
