According to the Harrisburg Patriot News, QB Michael O'Connor will NOT enroll at State Penn in January. He is looking at schools other than the NitWits, including Mich. State, UCLA and Rutgers. You can bet that more will follow suit. So much for QB U:

OConnor is from Ottawa, Canada however. My money would be on Michigan State unless Franklin is tabbed at Ped State.

I don't think that Ped State has another scholy QB on the roster other than Hackenberg. And they don't have any other QB commits in the class.

reached out to who, OConnor? I have my doubts about that considering we have 2 QBs, but if we have then that's cool. I watched the kid in the skills competition the other night. He was very accurate throwing to the moving targets and his long ball went 60 yds.

I assume that you employed sarcasm here. They wanted him, and they wanted him enrolled early. O'Brien is why O'Connor wanted to go there, because of O'B's rep as a developer of QB's.

I've said this before but shouldn't these guys have had second thoughts before ever committing to PSU? Seriously -- A week ago, the kid rock-solid commit to a school about a year removed from a decades-long coverup of a serial pedophile that involved the school's legendary coach and the administration. Then, a week later, one overly competitive meathead football guy who likely speaks in 85% cliches leaves, meaning another overly competitive meatead football guy who likely speaks in 85% cliches takes over and the kid decides that is just too much for him. Their parenting makes me sad. A kid good enough to go to PSU is good enough to go to a million better, saner options. I can't fathom how a parent can essentially let their kid be a martyr.
