Nisky's loss came to Connecticut powerhouse - Darien. A 20-16 shootout. Quinn was 2-1.
Darien's Kevin Lindley (Loyola) was 7-2 and they had a junior Colin Minicus go 6-4. Darien is pretty good. They crushed Yorktown 12-3 a week ago.
Some things I've noticed perusing the Section 3 box scores but there's a lot of parity. Don't be surprised to see Caz take down West Genny this week. Caz' Cole Willard (Penn State) has been putting up some numbers. I'm also watching Tully quietly put together a season. They beat Marcellus (who beat FM) and CBA and only lost to Caz by 3.
Lafayette has struggled with a brutal early season schedule (CBA, Westhill and Caz) but I'd expect them to bounce back. Keep an eye on native Devon Buckshot and Westhill's Casey Rogers.
