On Gameday they were analyzing Florida and LSU. Florida's big problem si that they don't have any good receivers and LSU's is that they have just lost too many people in their front seven and they just aren't as good as they've been.

Even the big powers have some of the same problems everybody else has. All those recruiting advantages give the big powers an edge in recruiting teenagers and you never know how teenagers will turn out.

I follow lsu closely and their situation doesn't feel dissimilar to what we could experience on the basketball side sometime. They just lost soooo much over the past couple years and it finally caught up with them. So now they've got a million young guys who aren't quite ready, which is bringing extra attention to coaching and personnel decisions.

Last week was not my household's finest sporting hour.
