Random question. What do others think of the effect of Strong, Kiffin & Davis taking head coaching positions at the directional Florida schools will have on recruiting. Syracuse relies heavily on the second & third tier Florida recruits along with every other mid level Power 5 team in the SEC, ACC, Big 10 & Big 12. Those schools are going to improve on the field and recruiting becoming a more viable option for guys who would be looking at a school like SU. We can sell Power 5 status but I think it will have an effect on our recruiting in Florida just a matter of how much.

I also think that northeast schools are thinking, "What is the effect of Dino Babers taking the HC job at Syracuse?" It'll work itself out. We will be successful, and we'll get guys from wherever we need to. We're starting to test the waters in Texas, methinks, as well.

The P5 label is a pretty big draw...it helps SU. They will still lose some kids but be lucky we aren't in UConn's FB conference.
