In 2013, SU made and won a bowl game over a favored B1G team the season after his departure.
If you ask me, talent at the NFL level is 75-80% on the GM.
For the record, Marrone did not want EJ Manuel and he (Marrone) did relatively well during his two years with the Bills, who were a broken franchise with Russ Brandon calling the shots.
In Jacksonville, he made the playoffs twice in 4 complete seasons at the helm, including a spot in the NFC Champ Game in 2018.
Marrone ain't perfect, but he accomplished a bit more than many here will give him credit for.
