The fact that 1st-year qbs have won national titles in 5 of past 6 yrs I'd make the case that a big part of that is better prepped young QBs

So basically we either haven't brought in good talent at QB or our QB coach isn't good.

Who is the QB coach?

I think Lester. But I do believe it's a 50/50 split on responsibility.

Let's not put ourselves into a discussion about the QB's at programs that won national titles in the last 6 years. We have to recruit a QB with at least one other high major offer before we can worry about what the coaches do with them. What is the best legitimate, written offer that any of our current QB's had? To play QB.

I'm leaning toward a combination of both. Our guys aren't naturally talented enough to star immediately, and our coaches haven't been quite good enough to take lesser talents and elevate them.
