One by one, the Amp's temporary fixtures are being replaced by permanent ones, giving the place a more settled vibe and concertgoers a better experience. It's easy to forget just how new the place is. The $49.3 million amphitheater on the west shore of Onondaga Lake was built in less than a year. It opened on Sept. 3, 2015, for one show featuring country megastar Miranda Lambert. The Amp hosted a full slate of 22 shows in 2016.
