Thanksgiving is usually a low stress holiday for college aged kids, where gifts don't need to be purchased, and older family members do the preparing of meals. Ben Lockwood, president and CEO of Housing Visions, said the lights will be turned on in December in time for the Christmas holiday. They won’t go away after the holiday, however. Lockwood said the plan is to keep them on the house to illuminate the North Side structure year-round.
