SU Recruit Moustapha Diagne Deals with His Father's Death (Update; PS; Waters)
Moustapha Diagne arrived in the United States two years ago. He had just turned 17 years old.
He left his home and family in Dakar, Senegal, to pursue a better future through basketball and education.
He said goodbye to his mother and father, his two brothers and his two sisters and boarded an airplane bound for Newark-Liberty International Airport. He knew it would be a long time before he would get a chance to see his family. He would stay with a host family in Sparta, N.J., as he attended Pope John XXIII High School.
What he didn't know was that he would never see his father again.

Dajuan Coleman does not know if he will play basketball for Syracuse this season as he continues to rehab from a January knee surgery, but in the absence of being able to practice physically he is practicing mentally by watching and learning.
