Orange in the Pros (cuse.com)
Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks - Anthony has been the Knicks go-to-scorer so far this year, averaging a team-high 21.3 points per game in the first four games of the regular season. Shooting 12-22 from the field, Anthony went for 28 points in the team's 96-93 victory against the Hornets. He is also averaging 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists on the season.
Wesley Johnson, Los Angeles Lakers - Johnson recorded a season-high 15 points, making six of his nine shots from the field and two of three from beyond the arc, as the Lakers fell to the Warriors, 104-127. Three days later, Johnson filled the stat sheet with four points, four rebounds, two assists, a steal, and a block, although his team lost to the Suns, 106-112. Johnson is a perfect eight for eight from the charity strike this season.

Paul VI teams VJ King and SU Commit Franklin Howard
VJ King, One of the Top Players in Class of 2016, Considering Syracuse (PS; Waters)
V.J. King has been rated, by ESPN, to be the 16th best player in his high school basketball class of 2016.
Syracuse University is recruiting King and has offered the Paul VI Catholic High School junior a scholarship. That school name should sound familiar to SU basketball fans. Frank Howard, the Class of 2015 point guard, attends Paul VI and has already agreed to play for the Orange.
King and Howard will team together this year with an impressive high school cast that includes a skilled 6-foot-8 center (Corey Manigault) and a rising 6-2 sophomore point guard (Aaron Thompson). Syracuse is also recruiting Thompson.
King, an athletic, wide-shouldered 6-foot-7 and 179-pound wing, has not put together a list of his recruiting favorites. He and his family moved from Akron, Ohio, to Northern Virginia, where King will play for Paul VI. King has been involved in the USA Basketball program for years; he was a member of the gold medal U17 team last summer. The power programs — Kentucky, Louisville, Arizona, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Michigan State, among others — have offered. He is one of the nation's top teenaged basketball commodities.
