The contest was the Orange's final warm up before this Friday's regular-season opener against visiting Kennesaw State (7 p.m.). The Orange led, 37-24, at halftime after shooting just 29 percent from the floor. SU ran away with the victory by clamping down on defense. For nearly 15 minutes, from the end of the first half and until nearly nine minutes remaining in the game, the Bulldogs failed to score a point, while the Orange used a 23-0 run to put the game completely out of reach.
