Highs and Lows From 2014-15 Season (BR; Neuman!)
The Syracuse basketball season has mercifully ended. The team ended the 2014-15 campaign with a 71-57 loss on the road at North Carolina State. It was the team's third loss in a row and its fourth in five games.
There was a lot about this season that had fans shaking their heads. Chris McCullough and DaJuan Coleman both missed significant time due to knee injuries. Trevor Cooney underperformed again. And Syracuse couldn't make it two in a row against Duke in front of a record crowd.
But there were certainly some high points as well. Now that the season is over, let's have a look at a few of the high points (as well as the lowest points) from this year.

RISERS
Brigham Young: There will be no unforgivable missteps for the Cougars (25-8), who pounced on Portland early and rolled to an 84-70 victory in the West Coast Conference semifinals. Does Brigham Young have enough on its profile to withstand a neutral-court loss to Gonzaga? Possibly. It probably couldn't have survived losing to the Pilots, though.
Manhattan: The Jaspers (19-13) won their second consecutive Metro Atlantic crown, handling Iona 79-69 behind Ashton Pankey's 21 points. It's the second time in school history that Manhattan has earned back-to-back NCAA bids. Expect much to be made in the next week about coach Steve Masiello's resume flap; he took the South Florida job, only to head back to Manhattan when it was revealed he had not earned his college degree. Masiello secured his degree last summer.
