Purdue Center Issac Hayes Might Have a Chance to Play in the Carrier Dome
Purdue Basketball Schedule Taking Shape; Syracuse Looks Like a Good Possibility for ACC-B1G Challenge (jconline.com; Baird)
...
Last season the ACC/Big Ten schedule was announced on May 2, so we could know next season's opponent any day. Two factors will be taken into account: teams due to host (Purdue will be on the road after two straight home games) and matching up programs based on season expectations.
Based on that, I think either Pittsburgh or Syracuse make sense as possible Boilermaker opponents. (Florida State is also "due for a home game, though it should be noted, this is all speculative since Purdue just hosted two years in a row.)

Syracuse Continues Domination of Boston College, Barring a Miracle, Have Won Another Orange Eagle Award (TNIAAM; Invisible Swordsman)
In the closest of competitions, it was only fitting that the Syracuse Orange and Boston College Eagles would take the deciding matchup of The Orange Eagle Trophy into sudden death overtime. Throughout the 2014-2015 competition, Syracuse and BC matched punch with counterpunch, and on a mild Thursday evening in Charlottesville, their nationally-ranked women's lacrosse teams battled it out in an extremely close and entertaining contest. As with the athletic programs themselves, there was nothing separating these two proud lacrosse teams as they looked to break a 13-13 deadlock and put their school in position to win the coveted "Badass Bird of Prey".
BC had their chances in OT, but ultimately SU's leader and Tewaaraton Award finalist Kayla Treanor scored the vital goal to earn The Orange a 14-13 victory, a birth in the ACC semifinals, and most importantly a commanding Orange Eagle lead. To recap the contest, we take you to the highlights of the live twitter feed between BC Interruption and TNIAAM, beginning with the pre-game trash-talk:

Midway Drive-In Movie Theatre Opens for Season: List, Map of CNY Drive-Ins (PS; Herbert)
After a tough 2014, a beloved Central New York drive-in movie theater is set to open for tits 67th season this weekend.
The Midway Drive-In will show a triple-feature of best picture Oscar nominees this Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bradley Cooper's "American Sniper" will be shown at dusk (approximately 8:20 p.m.), followed by "The Imitation Game" and "Selma."
Owner John Nagelschmidt admitted "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is Friday's big new release, but opted to show the superhero sequel later in May when the weather is warmer and the lot conditions are more dry. This weekend's forecast shows rain is possible Friday, but highs will be in the upper 60's and low 70's all weekend.
The Midway Drive-In, located "midway" between Fulton and Oswego on Rt. 48 in Minetto, saw its single screen destroyed by heavy winds amid a tornado warning in the area last July. The theater rallied and reopened two months later, but the neon marquee sign welcoming fans to the Midway was damaged in October by vandals.
The Finger Lakes Drive-In, New York state's oldest operating drive-in and the closest to Syracuse, said it's aiming to open for its 68th year on Memorial Day weekend. The Auburn theater plans to schedule "Avengers: Age of Ultron," "Furious 7," "Jurassic World," "Ted 2" and other big summer movies, plus pre-entertainment some nights with magicians, singers, jugglers or other acts.
