So JetBlue treated its customers named J.D. Power to a free flight and included the J.D.'s in a commercial. Among the J.D. Powers was James Powers of Syracuse. Powers is a former manager for the Syracuse University basketball team. He graduated from SU in 2006. He now works at the university as the help desk manager at the Institute for Veterans and Military Families. Powers and his wife, Ashlee, live in Syracuse. "And she was like, what happened to Rochester? This looks a lot different." The family tried to get answers from JetBlue, but the airline insisted Hussainzada was in JFK waiting for her next flight. Only one problem: She was really in Barbados.
