Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott said their representative, UCLA AD Dan Guerrero, did not vote the way he was supposed to vote, as the other 11 schools were against the ban. Guerrero [URL='http://www.si.com/college-football/2016/04/20/satellite-camp-ban-pac-12-dan-guerrero-ucla-ad'][U]told SI[/U][/URL] it was believed the issue would be tabled, but when it instead came up for a vote, he favored the ACC’s off-campus ban in order to block the SEC’s ban outside of 50 miles.

Last week, it was revealed that Texas State AD Larry Teis voted against the camps, despite the majority of the Sun Belt schools (including his own coach) being in favor of them. Had Guerrero and Teis sided with their majorities, the ban wouldn’t have passed.

What a mess. This issue is expected to come up at the April 28 board of directors meeting, and ESPN reports schools are working on getting enough votes to change it. The fact that this happened with little feedback or organization is a bad look.
