Moore’s decision to transfer to Texas comes after the senior visited the Forty Acres over the weekend. A graduate transfer, Moore will be available to suit up for the Longhorns immediately in 2017, which comes as music to Tom Herman's ears after making note of his displeasure with the options currently available at tight end on numerous occasions. Senior Andrew Beck has just 12 career receptions and Herman has previously stated that freshman Cade Brewer is likely at least a year away from being able to physically manage the position in college. It also remains to be seen what happens with freshman signee Reese Leitao, whom was arrested on drug charges in February.[/I] [I]A 6’5, 245-pounder, Moore caught just one pass for 15 yards last season for the Orange and hauled in 14 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns throughout his career at Syracuse. Now though, things are different, and players want to win now, and have scouts see them do so. After all, they want to have the brightest spotlight so they get noticed by the NFL and fulfill their career dreams.
