North Carolina has yet to fill three quarters of its 63,000-seat stadium for a game this season, and Tar Heel receiver Bug Howard is not happy about it.

Through two home games so far this season, UNC’s average attendance at Kenan Stadium is sitting at 42,500, with a crowd of 44,000 for the matchup against North Carolina A&T marking the high. On Monday, Howard took to social media to voice his frustration following Saturday’s home contest vs. Illinois that drew only 41,000 fans.

“Maybe if we did a Men’s basketball pick up game at halftime of our games maybe people will show up? Will you?,” Howard wrote on Twitter.

The wideout’s tongue-in-cheek tweet actually proposes a pretty cool idea, but it also raises a legitimate question: As a large public university in Power 5 conference, why is it such a struggle for UNC, which has a football program that has finished .500 or better in each of the last seven regular seasons, to fill up Kenan Stadium?
