this is basically what i posted in the other thread. a decent guard could have gotten open, gotten the ball and made it to the rim easily in 6.6 seconds. gbinije hid and cooney took a few dribbles and jacked a three. the other team can't foul, it is a 1 point game and they are in the double bonus so the offensive player basically has a green light. i would have rather had howard in the game there than cooney.

GMAC had 6.2 but not as far to go.


I like the fact that he went to the center and got within 20 feet. Cooney went to the sideline, then back across. It's got to be an easier shot going right at the basket.

Also: why the wouldn't you front the guy on that last play so the in-bounds can't be along pass to anyone in particular?
