I guess coming off the 2nd least-deserved BCS berth in history (#1 being Pitt in 2004) they thought a "care taker" was the right person to bring in. Clearly it wasn't, they should have been bringing in an innovative, dynamic FCS or non-BCS conference head coach. Maybe a young coordinator from a major program.
