Gone are the days when the Prep Schools purpose was solely to prep kids to go to college. IMG Academy is BIG business!!

Tuition to attend IMG which was only $78,000.00 in 2019 is now $84,400.00 ... if you don't live on campus you can get away with $67,400.00!! That's a lot of Money. And only 1,400 students attending last year. Hmmm... rough math that's more than $94 million in tuition without taking into account any scholarship money they be awarding.

You can buy IMG Apparel online; get a "nice" sweatshirt for $85

And they haven't exactly allowed their facilities to become rundown .... like a lot of colleges you could be Prepping to go to....

And they make you live in a dump like this......

Prep schools are well worth the money, especially in the Northeast. The endowments and connections these places have is incredible.

That’s insane. A girl from my sons class went there for lacrosse I believe. Based on her parent’s neighborhood and house, I highly doubt they paid full freight for her to attend.

The bad wannabe superstar kids with rich parents pay, the good kids with a real shot at D1 sports and not-rich parents get the full rides.
