Watch today's presser. He seems very upbeat, willing to talk, and ready to go. Doug seems very excited about the schedule and the spring. It's a far cry for those who thought he looked tired and defeated on signing day.

Reading between the lines I think he believes a tougher schedule will be the best thing to get this team motivated through the spring, summer, and into the season.

Amazing what a little media training refresher can do...

That's about all he can hope for. It's not like he's going to say "our 2012 schedule is a real kick in the balls. Our guys have packed it in already and we're now planning for the 2013 season."

Conference games should seem alot more winnable after running through our OOC schedule. If we come out 3-2 or better we're in good shape. Even @ 2-3 we need 4-3 in conference to go bowling and sub .500 conference bowl teams shouldnt exsist in the first place.

he also didnt have the extra stress added with a signing day event-

Agree Marrone looks upbeat and enthusiastic. I love the way he handles his PCs. He's genuine, honest and direct. We need wins. We also need guys like HCDM in Syracuse football.
